Urban Plant Walk

Oregon is lush with a variety of wild herbs that grow all around us. On Sunday, June 9, join local herbalist, Kassaundra Lynn, for a stroll around Skinner Butte to explore some different herbs that grow there. 

On this walk, you'll learn:

-How to identify a handful of medicinal plants

-The energetics and herbal actions of each plant 

-Ways to work with the plants

You'll also receive an overview of all the plants we met on the walk that will be sent out the week following the herb walk. 

Suggestions on what to bring:

-Water

-Snacks (if needed)

-Pen & Notebook

If you would like to/need to carpool, meet at the apothecary at 9:15a, otherwise we'll meet in the parking lot by the RiverPlay Discovery Village Playground at 9:30a. 

*Although Skinner Butte is dog friendly, I have found that the pace of an herb walk is not preferred by most dogs, please leave your doggo(s) at home.
