The flower of love, Rose has been a muse for poetry since first laid eyes on (I assume). Unlike the common misconception, ‘Rose knows that to experience love in full, you need to be a strong vessel while at the same time cracking open.’ (@theherbiary)

.

Luxuriously soft petals that smell divine, and the deep, silky array of colors, Rose teaches us boldness in pleasure. Whether it’s the small, pink wildings that catch your eye amidst the green forest or the fancier varieties that fill manicured gardens, Rose helps us connect with the vastness of love. Lean into vulnerability and tenderness, not just with others but with yourself as well.

.

In addition to Rose’s luscious blossoms, sharp thorns line their stems. In order to be bold in love, a sense of safety is necessary. Rose’s thorns protect them from other living creatures who want to jump instead of ease in. It’s only when we approach with respect to their boundaries does Rose give her scent and medicine freely.

.

Rose reminds us of the beauty of dualities and says “both/and” instead of “either/or.”
