About the Event

In the words of Hippocrates: “You will find the drink, called oxymel, often very useful… for it promotes expectoration and freedom of breathing” (Hippocrates, 400 B.C.E.).

Herbal oxymels are a simple and convenient herbal preparation that creates an ideal balance between vinegar and honey for supporting the immune and respiratory systems, soothe dry throats, and temper digestive issues. 

We will be making 2 different combinations:

•Tulsi, Ginger, and Blueberry

•Lemon balm, Nettle, and Rose hips

All materials will be provided

*Please bring a journal and pen for note taking

**Masks are required

What you will gain:

•Knowledge and experience of how to make an herbal oxymel

•An overview on the history of oxymels


•2 Herbal oxymels that you created with the needed bottles/containers, labels, and cotton mesh for straining
