About the Event

What is the Nervous system? Your Nervous System runs the length of your entire body, consisting of your brain, spinal cord, and nerves. It plays a role in everything you do and can be considered your body’s command center. This vast network of nerves connects to all of your organs, muscles and glands. The messages your nervous system send out to the rest of your body regulate:

  • Thoughts, memory, learning and feelings
  • Movements (balance and coordination)
  • Senses (how your brain interprets what you see, hear, taste, touch and feel)
  • Wound healing
  • Sleep
  • Heartbeat and breathing patterns
  • Response to stressful situations, including sweat production
  • Digestion
  • Body processes, such as puberty and aging

That’s the physical part.

The nervous system is a sensitive part of your whole being, and is typically the first physical system to pick up on things energetically, especially for those of us who are empathic and sensitives. Have you heard of the saying, “trust your gut”? That’s also your nervous system.

In a society where it’s easy to focus on just surviving for the majority of us, the nervous system can often get overlooked. The more we ignore the nervous system, the worse certain problems can get. Fortunately, there are a surplus of tools that everyone can benefit from having in their back pocket. One of those support systems is herbs!
