Evening Herb Walk

Oregon is lush with a variety of wild herbs that grow all around us. 

Join local herbalist, Kassaundra Lynn, for a stroll around Maurie Jacobs Park for an evening herb walk. We'll meet a handful of herbs that grow throughout the park, and possibly in your own backyard. Getting to know the plants around you can provide a more enriching experience of the outdoors. 

On this walk, you'll learn:

-How to identify a handful of medicinal plants

-The energetics and herbal actions of each plant 

-Ways to work with the plants

You'll also receive an overview of all the plants we met on the walk that will be sent out the week following the herb walk. 

What to bring:

-Water

-Snacks (if needed)

-Pen & Notebook
